On the fence about the cost of a fence?

Joe EverestUncategorized

We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again; purchasing a fence is an investment. Not only because of the privacy and protection that it offers your family long term, but also because of the cost to install it. Like most things that use quality materials and that are built with quality craftsmanship, it does come with a price tag. So let’s go ahead and talk about what you can expect when it comes to purchasing your new fence.

Let’s say you’re interested in having a new fence installed, so you give us a call. After chatting with someone in our office they’ll schedule an appointment for either Jim or Joe to come out and give you an estimate. During that appointment they’ll discuss what your needs are and what is most important to you when it comes to choosing a fence. Next, they’ll take some quick measurements and work up a quote. This quote is only good for 10 days since raw cost for materials fluctuate from time to time.

If you’re happy with the fencing we offer and our quote, then it’s time to put down a deposit to secure your spot on the schedule, while locking in your pricing. This is typically 50% of the total cost. Now that you’re on the schedule you can sit back and relax. Once it’s time for us to start working on your new fence it only takes about 5 days, from pouring the first bit of concrete to installing the last board, chain link or ornamental section. After that we offer a 15 day grace period to complete the payment on your newly installed fence. Oh, and we should probably mention that is comes with a 1 year craftsmanship warranty, so if you ever have any issues, give us a call and we’ll set it straight!

We get it though, even after a down payment the initial price can be shocking, especially for younger families that may have just purchased a new home. It’s probably still important for you to have the extra security, especially if there’s a little one running around. That’s why we work with a local bank to help you secure financing for you new fence if needed.

So next time you’re in the market for a new fence don’t hesitate to give us a call at 417-862-7803 or stop by our office on 1716 W College Street in Springfield. We’d love to find the best fence, and payment option for you!
